Author Guidelines for Manuscript Submission

  1. Please provide author details (for ALL authors and contributors): Author name, affiliation, and contact information (complete mailing address, mobile number, email IDs) along with the manuscript.
  2. All sections of the manuscript should be typed on MS Word Document/ PDF File, with proper spacing and 1 inch page margin all around. This will count to approximately 250- 300 words per page (tentative). No blank lines should be left between the paragraphs. Use indentations.

  4. All sections of the manuscript should be typed in 12-point font size on MS Word/ PDF with double line spacing.
  5. Abbreviations in the text should be kept to a minimum, and full terms should be provided the first time they are used. All symbols, used in the manuscript must be defined at first mention.
  6. If images are included, each must be labeled and cited in the text of the manuscript, a legend must accompany every image/ figure and the quality of the image/ figure must be sufficient (resolution of 300 dpi) to be reproduced clearly. All images should be pasted inside the chapters at their actual places. Also, the images/ illustrations/ photos need to be provided in JPEG format separately in a folder (chapter wise) along with the manuscript.
  7. Figures include photographs, artwork, algorithms, flow diagrams, graphs, etc. (anything but a table). Please ensure that all figures are cited in the text.
  8. For tables, borrowed or adapted from another publication, add a credit line as a footnote beneath each table. This credit line should be a complete bibliographical listing of the source publication (as for a reference), or other credit line as supplied by the copyright holder, e.g. “From: Calfee DP, Wispelwey B. Brain Abscess. Semin Neurol. 2000; 20(3):355. Reprinted with permission.”
  9. Use abbreviated Medline journal titles. If more than six authors, include the first three followed by “et al.” Cite personal communications in the text, not in the reference list.
  10. All images, references, table must be numbered and cited in the manuscript in consecutive order. Responsibility for the accuracy of bibliographic references rests entirely with the author. The references are cited sequentially in the text. Reference citations are superscript, outside commas and periods but inside colons and semicolons. Place multiple references in numerical order (e.g., 4,10,28,33). Use en dash for ranges (e.g., 1–3 but 1,2).

  11. Abstract and Keywords: The article(s) need to be preceded by an abstract, of up to 300 words, that highlights the important points, structure and summary of the paper. 6-8 keywords need to be provided along with the abstract.
  12. a) Footnotes (Optional): If you are providing footnotes along with the text, it should be numbered and marked by asterisks.
    b) Mathematical Equations (Optional) : All mathematical equations need to be presented clearly, and annotated if necessary. The primes and dots should be clear in the manuscript. All equations must be numbered sequentially. For example: Please make clear differentiation between number 1, capital letter I, and lower case letter l.

  13. Organisms: All organisms used in the manuscript to be identified by their scientific nomenclature.

As the author or contributor, it is your responsibility to obtain all permissions, pay any permission fees, and furnish copies of permission documents to the publisher.
